When you need continuous, even delivery of granular or medium-sized material to downstream equipment, the Pan Feeder provides reliable, controllable feed in a compact footprint. It runs with low noise and low power consumption relative to its capacity — and with a variable frequency drive (VFD), the feed rate is adjustable to match process demand without stopping the feeder.
The Pan Feeders are available in both floor-mounted and suspended configurations to match your plant layout, with optional conical discharge available for either style to meet specific material routing requirements. The wholly welded body is built for long-term structural integrity in the vibrating environment.

What material types is the Pan Feeder suited for?
The Pan Feeders are well suited for medium to small-sized material that flows consistently — crushed stone, sand, processed aggregate, and similar dry or low-moisture feeds. For material that is very wet, or sticky, the Belt Feeder or Apron Feeder may be a better starting point. Contact us with your material specification and we can advise.
What mounting configurations are available?
The Pan Feeder are available in two mounting configurations: floor-mounted or suspended (hung from structure above). The right configuration depends on your circuit layout. We review installation geometry during the engineering phase to confirm the fit.
Can the feed rate be controlled?
Yes. With the addition of a variable-frequency drive (VFD), the exciting force is adjustable, allowing the operator to control and vary the material flow rate. This is particularly useful in applications where downstream equipment demand varies, or where precise feed rate control is required to protect process consistency.
How does the counterweight adjustment work?
Adjustable counterweights allow the throw of the feeder to be tuned via kinetic energy. Increasing the throw moves more material per cycle; reducing it slows the feed rate. This provides an additional mechanical adjustment in addition to VFD control and is particularly useful during commissioning when the feeder is being set up to match circuit throughput targets.
